Another day...another search!

Searching with ERIC

Today I used a new database: ERIC (via EBSCOhost).
I found this database very easy to negotiate and was able to find some very useful journal articles and websites to enlighten me and inform me about my topic.
I began with the search terms that I have used in some of the other databases. These included:
"inquiry based learning"
"Inquiry Based Learning"
"Inquiry Learning" and "inquiry learning"
"primary school" and "middle school" and "elementary school"
"science" and "health" and "diet" and "nutrition" and  "Health and Physical Education"
The Search History Results can be seen from the screen captures below: (click on picture to enlarge)

While on was searching within this database, I also discovered the Visual Search component.
This was quite useful in that it grouped the search terms and came up with results and then using the filters they provide, you can narrow the search accordingly. I used Jing to capture a video of one of my searches using the Visual Search component. Quite fun really!
